With everything from mountain biking and kayaking to hiking and fishing, enjoy the beauty and the amenities of Florida's largest urban park. Spanning 1,033 acres within minutes of the hustle and bustle of North Miami Beach, Oleta offers some of the best mountain biking in Florida. Ride or hike along the twists and turns admiring the scenic wildlife along the way or take to the walking paths through the mangroves and waterways. Grill out and enjoy a picnic lunch, swim in the lagoon, or kayak through the Biscayne Bay. There is a playground for small children and the BG Oleta River Outdoor Center rents canoes, kayaks, standup paddleboards, and bicycles for your convenience.

    Admission into Oleta River State Park is $6 per vehicle up to 8 passengers. Single-occupant cars or motorcycles are $4, while pedestrians on bike or foot are $2. Extra passengers are $2. 

  • Is Oleta River State Park good for biking ?

    With over 15 miles of windy and scenic trails, Oleta River State Park offers fun and challenging biking for novice and experienced riders. Ride the Goldstick Trail, the Strangler Fig or Gator Bank Trail, each under a mile, or combine them for a fun biking adventure in Miami. Daily bike rentals are available which includes a safety helmet and instructions.
